This 18th Century Nanking porcelain octagonal small plate has a bluish grey glaze and a typical panting of a Chinese pagoda in blue enamel.
‘Nanking porcelain’ refers to Chinese blue-and-white porcelain made for export during the Qing Dynasty at Jingdezhen, and shipped to Europe in great quantity from the port of Nanking (Nanjing).
Condition Several small chips/nibbles along the outer edge.
