This lavishly gilded Minton cabinet plate displays very well. Condition issues are reflected in the price.
The gold stamp on the back of the plate, with ‘England’ below the ‘Mintons’ globe and crown, was used between 1891 and about 1902.
Condition Extensive crazing and minor flaking of turquoise enamel. A few areas of gilt loss and restoration. Chip on bottom rim. See photographs.
