This tea & coffee trio has one of Spode’s most popular pairings – bright summer sprays hand-painted on elegantly shaped white porcelain, embossed with tiny flower heads. There also are small delicate sprays inside the cups. The shape is called ‘New Dresden Embossed,’ in inspirational homage to Meissen, and was introduced around 1816.
The pattern number, 2527, is painted in grey on the bases.
Condition Excellent/VG. Some light gilt rubbing, and minor surface abrasions, mainly in well of saucer. A few minor glaze impurities from kiln firing.
